Curious. Boundless. Innovative.
How do you see technology? Consume it? Read and talk about it? Engage with it? At the Triple Helix, we enter into that dialogue every day. This is what we believe in:
1) Technology is more interdisciplinary than ever. To understand the complexities linked to business, law, medicine, and social change, we need to train ourselves to think broad and to think agile.
2) No one has time to read everything they would like to know about technology. The news bombards us, not only with information overload, but with distorted information. But if we gain deep knowledge in the issues that matter the most to us, we can educate each other by synthesizing and filtering ideas.
3) We all have a stake in future of this world. Our network encompasses the. We believe that, by creating and growing a network encompassing the brightest students in 5 countries, we hope to connect emerging leaders of the world.
There is no other community quite like ours. When you join TTH, you join a vibrant community of students, alumni, and advisors. And you join a growing organization that still operates like a start-up – you have the opportunity to shape what we do and make the changes you envision. We invite risk-takers, thought-provokers, and sleeve-rollers alike.
We have just kick-started Topic of the Month, a new way to connect writers from various universities. Writers from each university contribute perspectives on an interdisciplinary topic through a unique lens. Throughout the month, we will post these articles on TTH Blog. Come inside and take a look!
A 501(c)(3) organization, TTH was started in 2004 at Cornell University and remains entirely student-run. We publish science journalism on our website triplehelixblog.com and a semi-annual magazine called Science in Society Review. Our network currently spans 27 universities in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Singapore, and Australia, as well as independent writers at various other universities.
You can see a full list of our universities here.
